Product Details: This postcard came from the estate of a WW2 US Navy sailor veteran. He served in the Pacific on the U.S.S. Darke during his WW2 service. He even attended the confidential commissioning ceremony for the ship in Astoria, Oregon. He was originally from Ohio. Robert Heaton was his name. This postcard was sent to his parent's address in Ohio.
